Help with ring ID

Found this in Fla. last week. Can anybody ID the maker or marks? Looks like 925 GeoAm or n.

Is it big ? wouldn't be a napkin ring ?

925 designates silver sometimes palladium
 
Thanks edjcox, its a ring size 9. I'm sure its 925 silver. It was totally black when I dug it (deep). I was just wondering if anyone had ever seen that mark before. Probably some obscure smithy. I didn't have any luck looking for it on line.

From the photo it seams to be silver plated.Sterling does not flake. .925 means Sterling Silver
