Help with Pictures

Can anyone help me with the pictures? I don't understand why it didn't post with my message below. I tried it numerous times. My file was a jpeg, I attached it as a jpeg. It shows up in the bar but then when I post there is no picture.........
 
Hi How large are your photos? If they are to large that might be why they do not post. HH Dennis in Idaho
