Help with new Troy Shadow X2

Hi Everyone
Just get my self a new metal detector a Troy Shadow X2
I'm new to the Troy but not to the hobby, I've been md senses 2000.
Any Tips, Tricks, or Advice you can throw my way would be a great help.
I am interested in knowing how to keep from digging all those pesky round
bottle caps and pull tabs - I am always saying the mantra
(pull tabs are my friend) but I just keep finding them!!!
I live hear in Philadelphia Pa. and will be hunting wood, parks and maybe a beach or two.
My other machine is a Minelab Sovereign GT a great beach machine.
Hope you can help me get started with my new to me Shadow X2.

is housed in the black color scheme, has the Threshold control moved from the control panel to an inside trimmer, and they added he "Coin Check" buttons and that rejection point it regulated by a nifty internal trimmer (on the back of the control panel).
