Help with new Gray Ghost headphones

Well, my daughter bought me a new pair of Gray Ghost u/w headphones so now I need to get the female part that fits to the male that came with the headphones (LIKE THE ONE THE BATTERY POD HAS) I have the excalabor II bought about 2 years ago anyone know where I can get this part (Demarco?)

i think obn had some i did the same thing just i didnt like the GG e/w they where not loud enough for me

i have this ufter market battery pad (dont remember where i got from ) but the female connector fromt this one was would not fit the xcal so used the one from the original battery and i'm using this one as my primery for now

did a search on it but got nothing

I called Joe Demarco and he said i would have to buy the Minelab ALKALINE BATTERY POD @ 80.00 no way will I do that. The gray Ghost will stay in the box

i too had a brand new set of the GG , my yellow koss were louder than the ggs so i took the connector off and moved it to the yellows now i'm waiting for mr.goldmaster to make me a pair of his headphones

the part you are looking for is available at kellyco ask for minelab service rep and he will help you out another option is to call minelab and tell them your part has cracked and they will send you a new on free of charge.good luck with it

You can order the part from Ike-Lite. They make the connectors. You would think Detector Pro would have them since since they installed the female end on their headphones. Can't figure how your Gray Ghosts arn't loud enough. I got mine set on the lowest & my ears got a few problems.

What was the impedance set......High or low.

The U/W Grey Ghost are by far louder and more crisp then the original koss headphones. you just have to make sure the impedance is set correctly. to do this , there are 3 wires white , red , and black. the headphones and connector come put together using the red and black. I had to switch colors and use the white and black . this combo made the impedance correct and volume alot louder , and much better then the original headphones.....

Yes I read that with the instructions. If you leave the wires as they are from the manufacture the volume is greatly reduced
