Help With Headphones

Bob Ohio

New member
I have a CZ3D and I looking to upgrade my headphones. I am thinking about getting the Gray Ghost Ultimates. Have any of you tried these or could suggest a pair that will work well with this detector. I also need to get a new pin pointer Vibra Probe or Sun Ray or ?

Hey Bob, I personally use a CZ-70Pro/ExCel ID, and I also use the new SunRay Pro Headphones, and I LOV'EM!! They are lighter in weight, and the sound is VERY CRISP. I use to use a pair of TIMBERWOLVES primarially, but they are now my backup headphones.
Also, I had a Vibra-Probe, and sold it, because at best, it only gets you approx. 3/4's inche on a coinsize object. There are other handheld pinpointers, that get a solid 1 in. or better, that I like awhole lot better, than the Vibra-Probe. But, if you have the money, and you are definitely going to keep your CZ for awhile, than the Sun-Ray Inline Probe is the BEST WAY TO GO!! Just my opinion.

P.S. If you decide on a handheld pinpointer, instead of the SunRay,
I have a Brand New WHITES BULLSEYE II Pinpointer, that has an
Audio-Vibration Selector Switch inside the battery compartment, and a light that shines on the target area. The battery that came with it is still sealed in celephane, and comes in the original box. It sells BRAND NEW for $120,
but I will sell it to you for $90 shipped Insured to lower 48 states,
and this unit has NEVER BEEN USED. I only put a different battery in it, to make sure that it works perfectly, and IT DOES!!
