help with German coin

Found something today, pretty sure its a german coin. Havent tried to clean it, dont wanna mess it up, but pretty sure it's German. Only reason I say that is bc on one side of it I can make out a swastika on one side of it, I can also read the year, 1941. Don't know german, so can't really read what's on it, but there is a "10". Please help with identifying it, or a site where I can find information. Havent looked for one yet, but I know you guys know alot about coins, so wanted to ask. Thanks.

Hi NTD,

Sounds like you found a 10 Reichspfennig. For 1941 I believe that it is made of zinc. Earlier years were made of an aluminum/ copper alloy. See the attached pictures. They are not very valuable ($4-$5). But still a great find. Especially if you are a WW II history buff. Congrats.

Oh and hi to everyone else. I just joined the forum today. I recently came back to the states from Germany. Just retired from the military. I have a BH Land Ranger. I cut my teeth using it at battle sites from WW II. Mainly Battle of the Bulge areas. I am still a beginner to this disease that we call metal detecting. Very addictive and fun. The main reason that I started visiting this forum was in the hopes of learning to better understand my metal detector. I am playing with it in my parents yard and don't want to make the yard look like it was visited by the caddy-shack gopher. So if anyone has any idea's or knowledge of documentation that goes into more detail than the owners manual please let me know. Thanks
