Help with Fresh Water Machine

Best Fresh water machine: Tesoro Tiger Shark or Detector Pro Headhunter Wader? Why?

asked. Each detector has great points and flaws. Information on where your hunting is also helpful. Fresh water, salt water, diving, wading, sand, rocks, muck, Depth your wanting to go. Its like asking people what kind of car is better. Ford, Chevy or Dodge. Might want to TRY to find local people in your area that use either or both and see what works best in your area also. Good luck on your decision and the BEST advice I can give is LEARN your machine and don't give up.

Today after 2 dives in a very hunted area I found 96

I haven't used either of those models so I won't comment specifically. I will say generally that among equal products, warranty wins the race!

The Tiger Shark is a very much better detector than the HH Wader aside frome being wp to 200foot.
It has a Ground balance all metal mode, Full range motion Disc, and I think it has a slow auto retune All metal mode and a salt mode, I am unsure how effective the salt mode is.
Operates at 12.5 khz which gives it much better sensitivity to small items and gold than the 2.4khz of the Wader.
the wader has a disc mode only. and the 2.4 khz will be a bit chirpy in the salt water becaus ground balance is fixed.
There are plenty of people who like the Wader because of its simplicity and it is light weight and I guess the performance and operation of this detector might be similar to a 1280x.
I think that the tiger shark is much more versatile than the wader and seeme to be a lot more detector for the dollar.

Lifetime warranty alone on the Tiger shark was why I bought it. The rest of it is gravy. Outstanding simple to use and deadly on targets makes it a winner for sure. Lots of coins and gold to show in my drawer because of it, just have to get out and turn it on.
