Help with detector selection

El

Active member
I'm trying to make a decision on a detector to hunt Maui Beaches next month.I was hoping to get a Aquasearch but am having problems with responses so I have decided to ask your help in making a decision. One thing is certain, I do want a water machine.I don't have any experience with PI's or the Minelabs and have experience with a Fisher CZ7APro. Depending on your recomendations, that would give me about 2-3 weeks practice before I go. Here are the units I am considering: CZ20,Ecal 1000,PI Pro and Sov. water proof if that is possible.

Thanks everyone,

El

I would go with the Mine Lab. I do not do any diving so I use a Sovereign GT. It works great...I would recomend an Excalibur[attachment 56990 excalibur_2web.jpg]

This article has info from one of the machines you listed. The testing is from a very well known and respected professional treasure hunter.
