I'll let somebody who has their Albert's book handy answer this one.

If you don't get any replies, I'll dig mine out of the clutter.

Great early US military button, there, even if the condition leaves something to be desired. Very cool.

Albert's book pg.24, Rev War, infantry 1 piece, a center circle rays UNITED STATES INFANTRY encircling Armitage, plated, 22mm

Whoa. Rev War, eh?

VERY cool. I knew it was early, off the top of my head, but I was thinkin' more War of 1812 era.

Excellent!

So you answered your own question, apparently.

I envy you New England fellas, sometimes. We get some colonial relics and coins here in GA, but not like y'all.

I hope to dig in Europe and/or the British Isles one day, but until then, I would settle for a trip up north sometime to get some really old stuff.
