Help with button I.D.

Took the CoRe to an 1870s-1900 army fort / town site today here in AZ. The place is unbelievably trashy but the CoRe came through with my first ever "button spill".
I recovered these four little copper beauties from the same hole...

I haven't been able to I.D. them, as of yet, via the net. I could not find a makers mark but have them soaking in a mild soap and water solution with hopes of finding a mark under the crud.

Any help with their identification would be much appreciated!

Settings- DI3, Sens 75, I.D. Mask 10, 11x7 coil.

Thanks!

Dean

I believe those are undergarmet buttons. The older ones were made of brass or a like material and typically marked, the later one where steel and frequently unmarked.
