I went to an old homestead today - the house has been bulldozed because it will become a county park soon.
It's the first time I've been there, a test trip, and although I found no coins I found a child's toy, a fired .45 slug and 3 unfired pure lead bullets. Picture attached.
The lead bullets are .50 inch diameter, 1.75 inches long. The homestead can only date from the 1890's at the earliest. Not sure what these bullets were or could have been for unless someone was a muzzleloader hobbyest??
