Sir, you got the ball rolling and rolling FAST!! A member on the Minelab Forum found out his state. I searched his state and found his name. I searched his last name in the city and found a phone number for the same address. I was able to talk to his son.

Its going home tomorrow. It was his fathers. How it ended up in a lake in Michigan nobody knows. That part of the mystery will never be solved. But his son has another part of his fathers life. I thank you all for trying.

Yes its a nice Christmas present for the family. Christmas is a time of rememberance of past Christmases for me. It went in a box today. I enjoy this part of the hobby as does a few others. Some have given back as much as they can also. I won't say that people that keep what they find are wrong either. I do what I feel is right. That 20.00 or so in silver means a lot more than that to the family.

Have a Merry Christmas all and may you all find peace and happiness in the year to come.

Just find your happiness in lakes outside of Michigan!!!!!
