Help with a new digging tool

I think you should just get a new digger. What kind depends on what you are digging, and where. Screwdrivers are still good for coins in the sod. :)

Check out the Nebraska sodbuster made by Dalyn Ent. It's the only digger I've never bent or broke. They sell for arount $24.00.

well, if its short notice & you cant get to a local metal detector dealer to pick up a lesche.... you may just have to settle for the heftiest garden trowel you can find at a local hardware/garden store.

BUT, if you have the time to wait.... I suggest either a traditional red-handled lesche digger.... or an orange-handled predator tools digger http:www.predatortools.com .... they seem bigger & stronger than the traditional lesche.

Its good policy to have a good backup digger available in case your regular one breaks (yes... you CAN break a lesche... I've broken 3).

Run to Home Depot and get yourself an all purpose garden knife. I was digging in frozen ground with it and it didn't break. Of course I didn't force it either but it is a great little digger!.
