"Help with a good beach setting"

I'm going to be going to Charleston, SC on Weds. Going to run by Folly Beach and was hoping someone could give me a goos setting to use on a 2500 GTI. I'm very new to this detector and have never used it at a beach yet, so any help will be greatful.

Sorry about your plight bud. Sure hope you beat it. At the beach try running in all metal and low sensitivity. Hunt in dry sand or in wet sand, don't swing back and forth over the two. You'll have to dig everything in allmetal but you should at the beach. Good luck on both of your endeavors.
