I want to upgrade and I really can't decide which one I want to get. Sometimes reading all the reviews forums etc really messes ya up, I'll decide on one and then read something about the others and change my mind lol....so if your bored this Sunday afternoon and wanna throw your 2 cents in, please do so.....I would very much like to see what others have to say and why.
One advantage is I have an Ol' Eagle Spectrum so the 3 coils I have would work on the XLT, but with the DFX and V3i I would have multiple freq. to choose from or run all freq simultaneously. I like that I could run a single Freq. and the low freq. being lower then the XLT. I believe the DFX is 3Khz and the V3i is 2.5 Khz. And I think to myself if I choose the XLT, might as well stay with the Eagle. The only real upgrade going to the XLT over the Eagle would be losing the "C" Batteries and going to AA. Anyhow, any thoughts would be appreciated. And a couple last thoughts if I choose the DFX, wouldn't it be better to throw a few more bucks in and get the V3i and how big a jump will it be programming wise going from the ol' eagle to a V3i......................
