Why is the ATPRO picking up Twisted Tea bottle caps at 70 to78 with iron set at 40
in the pro mode for coins with nickles eliminated at about 2 inches deep
 
If it is the ones I think they are they will but if you slow your swing down you should get a roll over grunt slightly on them and they want be a real clear tone . Also why may ask do you eliminate Nichols you lose possible gold rings and such just asking!
 
I have only used it twice, at the spot I found the caps the ground has a lot of bad targets.when i
learn the machine i will set it at zero disc
 
Just remember Spud that most good targets down to about 6" wont vary much numbers wise. Practice in your yard with some coins to hear what good targets sound like opposed to the bottle caps. You'll be able to hear what Barry is referring to. Takes some time to learn but with time you'll get it. Joe
