Help to ID a coin

B.T

New member
Hope someone can help Id this little coin I found. Got it with a 2100.
I cant make heads or tails of it.

But it looks like it could be bronze and possibly very old.

I cropped and enlarged the pics a bit.

[attachment 51700 coin1redo.jpg][attachment 51701 coin2redo.jpg]

Im sure its bronze too. Definately not English writing. One or a couple of the letters look like those sort of Greek back to front Es if you know what I mean.
I found it on a goldfield over here in a mullock heap, refuse dirt dug out from a gold shaft, where the diggings took place around 1860.
But I reckon its a lot older than that, maybe.
Thanks for the better enlargment. Im no rocket scientist when it comes to computers.
Cheers Tom.

Do you have a flatbed scanner? They take good close ups, really clear. That might help to be able to see the script better.

Hi J.
I use a cheapo set of gear at the local public IT provider.
And my depth of know how on anything computer is pretty shallow so its probably as good as it will get unfortunately. One day I will find out what this thing is, I hope.

Looks like some kind of token to me.
Cheers!

Hi, What relief?????

I am new to this sport, sorry.
