I rarely use a trowel anymore. Mostly use just a blunted screw driver to retrieve my targets. Much faster too.

Also a good way to get an ordinance passed like we have locally. No one can hunt on city property, and they enforce it. I checked it out with the Parks and Recreation Department and they showed me the ordinance. When I asked why they said it was because of the digging. Probably one or two morons spoiled it for everyone.

Yeah I pop all my coins with a big screwdriver. No holes, no mess. I could never understand why one needed to dig a six inch ( or bigger ) diameter hole to retrieve a coin less than an inch in diameter.
