Help! Teknetics 8500 and Bounty Hunter Coil

MarkCZ

I got this question on the Tekentics side of the forum, but I thought it might be good to post it here as well.

I got a Teknetics 8500/B and from the information I have I'm supposed to be able to use a Bounty Hunter coil on.
I'm thinking about getting a BH 10" coil but first I wanted to know about the different coil connectors? the Tek has a turn an lock connector, the BH has either a push in, or screw ring.

Anybody here worked this out? or have any information about using one of the BH coil's on an old Teknetics?
Are there some of the BH's that work and some that don't?
Which ones am I looking for?

Thanks
Mark

I know that I have used the coil from my original Big Bud on my two Teknetics (8500 & 9000). I don't know about the newer Bounty Hunters.
