:help: Putting pic files from computer back onto SD card :help:

ihuntrelics!

New member
I am trying to figure out how I can take the pic files I've uploaded from SD cards to my computer and be able to select pics to transfer back to the SD cards. The reason for this question is that I'm gonna be giving some digital picture frames out for Christmas and I want to be able to select from pictures I have already transferred to my Photo Suite software. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Scott

Not sure that I understand Scott. Do you mean that you copied them from your camera's SD card to your computer hard drive using a USB cable and now you want some selected files copied back?

You should be able to use your file manager (Windows or Mac?) - or the software that came with your camera - to do this in reverse after you delete the files on the SD card (or use a blank SD card). Another way is to use a card reader (they are fairly cheap ... less than $20) and file manager .... just the same as copying it from one location on a drive to another.

Could you give a few more details?

I have been looking at those in the paper but never seen one. I was thinking this would be a great gift for my mother with all the old pictures I have of family that has now passed and the many birds pictures I have taken at her house in N.C.. Can you tell me if they look good when displaying pictures. What size and what size card. Do you have to plug them in a electric outlet?
Thanks

types of memory cards. I use the sd card in mine and it will hold up to 9999 pics supposedly. The frame has many ways you can set it up and it will do a slide show through all the pics in memory then start over again. My polaroid 7" frame has a great picture. Yes they are powered by a cord. I've seen these digital frames from $40 on up. Hope this answers your questions.

Tom I never post here but I love to look at the pics. you post. I just got my Mother in law and my Dad a digital frame that you pay a fee for the service but all the relatives can post pics. on line at the frames site. Then every night the frame calls in and loads all the pics. ( up to 40 per night) the frame hooks to a phone line nothing else needed for it to work. My kids send pics. to there Grandparents from 5 different states . They wake up every morning with new pics to see. It also works with video cards also.
Here is the site with the details.
