Can anyone help me. I have never had a Garrett's before and now I just traded for a Master Hunter ads 7. Has any used this to let me know what coils fit this detector. And is it very good no coins? any help will be nice. Thanks much Dean

From what I've seen it is a very good machine. I've never owned one, but I remember playin' around with one that one of my Army buddies had ages ago. It is an old macine(over twenty years), but that doesn't really mean anything. I'm really not sure what searchcoils it uses. You can give Garrett a call or e-mail and they will let you know. I'm sure there are others on this forum that will chime in with info. Good luck:biggrin:Happy Hunting!:)

Dean,
There are a few "one-percenters" that still use the old ADS detectors. As metalhead says, it isn't the age that necessarily does 'em in.
Uncle Willy will be able to answer your questions, and you can get info on the Garrett website for most of their old models..
