Will the V3i just shut off without warning when batteries get to low? tonight i was playing around with the V3i and it just shut itself off without warning, i don't have any alkalines available and don't want to put the Li-ion back in till charged, Thanks.
 
Yep, if the batteries are dead. You can put the LI ION pack in even if it isn't fully charged.
 
Thanks Rob, i just put the LI-ION back in and it powered right back up. i guess i need to pay more attention to the battery warning.:)
 
Just found in the expert menu where you can select low battery auto shutdown, "mine was selected:). What a great forum where there are guys like Rob (IL) that are willing to help you.
 
Hey...that's a neat selection to have from the menu. But I guess it can surprise some one if they didn't know it was selected. Thanks for the info.
