WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE ECLIPSE 8X14' COIL ? GOOD OR BAD OVER THE 300 12' COIL

THANKS BOB MXT300

If your talking about the White's Big coil, I had one and got rid of it. I also heard bad things about the super 12". You might want to look in to a SEF coil from Kellyco. I have a 12 X15 SEF and love it. Most of my friends have the 10 X 12 SEF ( a little lighter). JMO
JOE in MD
P.S.
I also have my old 12.5 Excellerator coil that I won't give up!!! Also from Kellyco.

I used one for part of the summer and got frustrated with the pinpointing.I decided to go back to the factory coil
I will give it another try next summer. If it doesn't pan out I''ll sell it.
Here is what I found when I went to use it It pinpointed the spot was two to three inches to the lower left of the rod connection about7or 8 o'clock
The only thing that saved me from w rapping it around a tree was I had the Garrett pro pointer.
Maybe someone else will have info on this Double D 10 inch.

My guess is you have a defective coil Joel. It should pinpoint right under the mounting ears or drag it to the toe or heal until the sound drops out.
