Help on the ace 250 or 1500

I am trying to decide to buy ace 250 or the 1500 can anyone give the best feedback on which one to buy the dealer always try to sell you the 1500 I do not mind paying the money but if the 250 is just as good why pay the money so I need help on which is better thanks for any help I can get .

I have had the ace 250 for 3-4 weeks now, and even during winter and frozen ground I have gotten out a few times. This machine is so simple to use and an awesome coin machine. I have found about 50 coins so far in that is just in a few hours of hunting. This baby sniffs em out. This weekend I found 2 tiny necklace charms, they were junk but they were tiny and it really impressed me my ace sniffed em out.

Is this your first detector?
If it is your better off with the Ace 250.
There are many good machines out there
but for the money and for someone just getting
into the hobby, you will want the ACe. While the Garrett 1500 is
a great machine, you'll be spending alot of money needlessly.
I have an Ace and an MXT. Both do the job really well.

I'll send you a PM

The ace 250 is a great machine for the money and the better you get to know it the better it will be.
For myself, it's a nice lightweight machine and lends itself to all day hunting without fatigue.
The only drawback is, although it works on damp sand it's not the greatest.
Otherwise it's super, simple, great coin sniffer, and light.

It's a great machine. It has a simple learning curve to it. It has a great resale value to it, so if you want to upgrade, you can sell it or just keep it as a backup detector. Many have now used the ACE 250 as their main machine and prefer their higher priced detector as a backup. The GTI 1500 has the ability to size the target for you (exclusively to only Garrett) and my personal opinion is that it is one of the (if not) THE best coin hunters available.
