Help on figuring value of E-trac with lots of extras

Due to health reasons, I need to sell my E-Trac and accessories, and I don't know what a fair price would be. Can anyone help?

The E-Trac was purchased a couple of years ago and is in near mint condition. It includes the following:

1) E-Trac with stock coil and coil cover.
2) Dust Cover
3) 1600 mAh Battery
4) 1800 mAh Battery
5) AA Battery Holder
6) Minelab Padded Carry Bag
7) Stock Koss Headphones - never used
:geek: 15" Coil-Tec WOT Coil with cover
9) Minelab FBS 800 Coil with cover
10) Sun-Ray X-12 Coil with cover
11) Sun-Ray X-5 Coil with cover
12) TWO Lower Shafts with bolts, washers & nuts
13) Owners Manual
14) E-Trac XChange CD
15) Original Box
16) AC Battery Charger
17) 12 Volt Auto Charger
1:geek: Extra Arm Strap

It's possible that I have more E-Trac related items when I dig a little deeper.

Everything is in near mint condition and works perfectly. I am very diligent about keeping everything clean and working properly. The Screen is like new with no scratches or smudges; I always kept the dust cover on it. I really hate to part with this machine, but due to a hearing loss a few years ago, I can't enjoy hunting like I used to.

I have found lots of relics and coins with this detector in areas that were supposed to be hunted out. It's by far the best of all the detectors I have owned. (Garrett GTI 2500, Whites V3i, Whites TDI, Explorer, Explorer II, Whites Pro 6000, etc.)

I'm thinking of listing it on eBay, but I have no idea what to price it at. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

You might do better profit-wise by selling the extras separately from the factory kit. You could sell here or on eBay. You could also check eBay for completed listings of the items that you are selling to get a good idea of how much they are selling for.

Sorry that you have to give up the hobby like that, Idhrelics.....

I buy lots of this kind of stuff on ebay and my rule of thumb is 50% of list price is a great deal, 60% is an ok deal, and 70% is top $ for used equipment no matter what kind of condition is stated......
You can expect about $950 on a good day for the detector, about $120-130 ea. for the coils, probably around $25-30 each for the shafts, for the batteries and the rest of the stuff, add another $100 if you get a decent price.....the bag and all the misc. is a gimme to get stuff sold.....

So all in all you are probably looking at a package deal of 1300-1400 all in....

If you sell on ebay with paypal, you need to figure about 15% less in ebay fees and shipping is gonna cost somebody 40-50 bucks....

I buy package stuff like this at times and resell the parts and make money, so that tells me that you might be better off parting it out...sell the detector with the misc. stuff like headphones, batteries and bags etc....then sell the coils and the shafts separately....

Good Luck, sorry for your troubles...

Oh, by the way, 3 weeks ago I picked up an NEW Etrac in a factory sealed box for $750, just goes to show ya that timing is everything.....

If you decide to sell on ebay, my recommendation is to start the bidding really low, (ie $5 or something) that gets lots of bidders involved early, but at the end it still gets a market value price. bidders not intending to buy love to bid up a low priced item......

Good Luck

Thanks.......
