Help needed with Detacc signal enhancer

Hi All. I'm hoping somebody can refresh my memory on how the DETacc signal enhancer is supposed to connect to my GP3000. I took it off a while ago and now can't remember for sure how to attach.

My recollection is that the signal enhancer short cable plugs into the battery connector slot on the control housing and then the long lead from the battery connects to the signal enhancer so the DETacc is essentially in line between the battery and the detector. Just making sure. Not sure if I lost any parts cables adaptors etc.
 
The detac short cable plugs into your detector, the cable from your battery into the detac...why not mount the detac on the side of the minelab housing and leave it plugged-in...set it up so you can reach the part that the battery goes into...and wrap your control box cover around it to help hold it and protect it...

Thanks Fred, that's the plan. I had taken it off to use on another machine and then couldn't remember if I had it set up right or was missing parts.
