HELP..need to send the 1350 in for repairs

Well, I have to send the 1350 in for repairs. I was wanting to know who/how I can contact (ie Mary from Garret)for information on how to send the detector. I checked the Garrett web page and all it has is a form to fill out and send the detector but I'd like to have a person to talk to, to give me that warm fuzzy. Thanks for any help.

Hi Big Al, call 1-800-527-4011 and ask Mary for the proper person to talk to about your 1350. I would like to ask if you don't mind Al, how long have used your GTP1350? Are you happy with the overall performance? Have you put it up against another brand of similar caliber? Thanks Al and Garrett will take care of you for sure.

John,
I've only had it a short while. I actually bought it from a buddy of mine that I talked into purchasing it. He used it once and didn't have time so I took it off his hands, for a good price. It was bought new just a year ago. I was going to sell it but decided to keep it. I actually had on the classifieds here before. The one time I had it out it was acting up...volume would waver high, low etc. and it was real scratchy hunting especially when I hit a target, not the nice crisp ping sound Garretts are known for. I reset it and it worked fine. I went out and got the 10x14 coil for it. When I went out to try the new coil out, same thing happened but the problem wouldn't go away. Tried both coils same out come. So, I figured since it's winter I better get it fixed for Spring. I still have my EX II to detect with, which I'm glad since winter has been real mild so far. Thanks for the info. I'll let you know how it performs when I get it back.

Ok Big Al keep me informed on how it goes and how much you find with the 1350. I'm hoping that it is a good instrument for you. Take care and God Bless ya.:garrett::detecting:
