Help me deciding on a Tesoro machine, please.

Hi, I've been detecting for a while using several Bounty Hunter and White's machines. Now I want to try for the first time a Tesoro. At first I was almost decided for the Silver umax; then read some really good reports about the Golden umax; however this goes brand new for approx. same price as the Vaquero. If all my interest is coin hunting in parks and yards (no beaches), what do you think will work the best for me: the silver umax for about $239, the Golden umax or the Vaquero (both about $420). Thanks for your help!

Golden, all the way. The Cibola is nice, but is monotone. I'll take a Golden for your kind of hunting anyday.

And dont let the opinions fool you - I OWN a Golden and use it a lot. It is very deep on good targets. Last weekened I dug a quarter at a measured 8-10". NO problems with ID in DISC mode and I was only at a SENS of 8-9, and nowhere near MaxBoost territory.

NOTE: You WILL have learn the Golden's language. It has 4 discrete tones, 1 overlaod tone, one "iron" tone and a variety of mixed and nuance tones. Once you do, you will have a great tool.
If you have any questions, email me.
