hello, a few weeks ago my garrett scorpion arrived, i have used very little i have no time, i have an opportunity to by an mxt and sell my scorpion what do you think?

im in prospecting and they have told me that the mxt is better than the scorp is that true???

Sounds like buying a computer before you know why. You indicated you have very little time to use the machine you have. Personally, id spend the time learning what you have first. That would give you the chance to see if you even like using a detector or if its practical for your prospecting needs. The MXT is a pretty good gold machine just because it was designed from a gold machine. It will pick up pretty small pieces of gold. But to be honest if you are buying it to prospect with and nothing elce... get yourself a Gold Bug, its cheaper, lighter, easy to use and will do a better job on flake gold. Dont expect to be digging 8 or 10 inches with a gold machine unless its a very very large piece of gold.
