:help: Looking To Upgrade

DMC

New member
I have a Quick Draw II which I believe is the same as the 202. I would like to upgrade to newer one so I can let my son use the Quick Draw II so we can both go and play. :twodetecting: ALSO! Wont One That I Can Use My Other Coils with the New M.D.er without down grading.
I have ben looking at the Land Star, Land Ranger and the Time Ranger.
PS. I don't know if I like that Platinum

The Platinum won't work with your other BH coils. It will only work with some of the Teknetics coils. All three of the detectors you mentioned should work with your QDII coils if the connector is the same......push in I believe.

Good luck and happy hunting!

DMC check the Fisher F4 It is the top of the line detector that will still use all your Bounty Hunter coils.Mine came with a DD coil and 8" round coil.Very fast recovery speed I love it.

try the bounty hunter legacy 3300 its an improved version of the other 3300s , i like mine all digital except the manual ground balance

Thank you wasp, longbone and langsy for the info I'll take a look at those and see if it can use the same search coils as my Quick Draw II.

F2 and F4 are much superior machines, compared to the QD2. The early F2/F4's used the push-on style BH connector but about a year ago we changed it to the locking ring type connector.

Rather than focus on the issue of searchcoil compatibility with your QD2, it would probably make more sense to focus on what kind of detector you want-- unless perhaps you can get a good deal on a used F2 or F4 with the push-on connector.

Other low cost machines that come from "the company in El Paso" are the Teknetics Delta and the BH Platinum. Both are upgrades from the QD2 but not searchcoil-compatible.

I'll would like to say thank you to Dave J. for our insight, and I'm thinking about getting the F5 but still looking a round... (INFO)
Reply, Reply????
Thank you

The F5 is a nice machine and I do not think you will be disappointed if you get one. It has the best interface going IMHO.

Thank you liondogs for your post, I've been doing some more research and I think I will get a F5.
But still looking for more INFO be for I spend that kind of money..
