Help. Iron mask / digital question?

In Iron mask, can you hunt in digital mode? When in digital mode I can see where the Iron Mask on bar is darkened. Thanks Jim TN
 
Jim, the EX2 has two modes of operation, Iron Mask and Patterns. The digital dispaly is not a mode but a screen presentation. When in Iron Mask or Patterns you can switch to the digital screen. The digital screen displays ferrous and conductivity and does not matter which mode you are in. The digital screen is additional information. You would need to switch the to the Iron Mask screen to see where the Iron Mask is set. As an example if you are in patterns and see the crosshairs the digital screen is a close approximation of the Ferrous and Conductivity location of the crosshairs. Instead of just seeing the crosshairs you can see a digital reading for the location of the crosshairs. The same is true for if you are in the Iron Mask mode.
