Help IDing first Compadre find

New member
Took the new Compadre out to the lake park and found several coins, sinkers, pulltabs and an old Peters .22 short casing. However I found this little ring and it has me intrigued. It has no markings on the inside and it seems to be a white metal with leaves around the band, it is not joined. I have resisted the temptation to "clean" it with anything to this point. I am hoping it is an old wedding band made of platinum or white gold? Anyone have any other ideas?

Oh and the Compadre 5.75" performed great. Great depth and very sensitive I was digging 5mm lead sinkers at 5-6" easy...I think I skunked my wife...she was using the old Minelab X-Terra 30...she did find more clad coins than me, but I was going for the gold!

Whatever it is, it's a super find! Maybe an old wedding band?

Nice ring, wouldn't think it was a wedding band since it isn't joined but thats just a guess on my part.
