This wouldn't happen to be in the nearby vicinity of Griswoldville would it?

Lol it was actually in New London Ct full of history “The whaling city”

I am currently detecting an old farm from 1840 , my buddy's nephew bought the farm a couple years back. I dont want you to think he "bought the farm" , he purchased it . Lol The house is still standing and being renovated , there are 2 good sized barns in great shape 2 stories each with basements. So far lots of iron farm tack , 1 silver dime (1946 Rosie) horse shoes, many other interesting items. 25 acre's to swing on. History is fun , it gives an appreciation for the craftsmanship that goes into the making of the essential things it took to live everyday life. I think there may have been some other out buildings on the property because of the spread of square nails and such. Time will tell. This is in Granby , MA. Also got a permission for a 1750 house in East Longmeadow , MA. Off to a great start for 2020.
