Hello all, I found my FIRST gold ring yesterday !! about 10" deep. And was wondering if someone might no the approximate age and what the design might be ? Inside the band it has OB 10k Which I understand is 10 karat and the OB is the initials of the jeweler that died in the Titanic ? That's about all the info I can find on it . Thanks!

Is that a 5 at the left side if the perch and a 4 at the right, and is there 13 stars running across the spread

wings and chest?

To be truthful you need to post a photo that is focused, that is too out of focus to see much detail and it might help with a shot from the sides if there's any design or marking on the sides.

Just find the best detail with your naked eye and then place the lens at the same distance , position and angle to the subject ring, then take take photo. If the camera you are using has a Marco mode (the flower icon)
use that mode, I'm no photo expert either.

I see a vintage military ring but it's hard to place from what period . But it looks to be from the civil war or post civil war period . But if this is a custom made ring it maybe a one-of-a-kind and then it's anyone's guess ... Woodstock
