Found this today in my yard while detecting. I know the pic is not that good,but it says MEXICAN BORDER SERVICE on the front the back SCHWAABSES co. MILWAUKEE. it measures 1 5/8 by 1 1/4 . THANKS
 
Sounds similar to a US Border Patrol badge but the design is more like a badge made to hang from a ribbon, and appears to be for a marksman award. Try to Google the company.

lucky dog... I didn't tell you but 3 weekends ago we went down to that place i was telling you about and my buddy found a metal arrow head at about 13 inches. I don't know if it has to do with the soil or what. he kept digging and I was like your wasting you time. I think it was alot shallower and it kept falling, but it was a good find... kudos on the 1946.... silver is always nice... I'll let you know what we find. If any of it is worth posting I will. :detecting:
