Help Id bullets?

John(Tx)

New member
Found these 8 bullets at an old plantation site. They look like bullets but not sure, haven't seen these before. Found them with my XTerra50 at 8-9", they were in a area about 18"x18". The penney is just size comparison. They are solid lead. Thanks for your help. John

They are more than likely .45 ACP 185 Gn. lead semi wadcutters used for target shooting in a .45 auto pistol. See if they are about 1/2 inch diameter. If you have either a caliper or micrometer see how close they are to .452" (standard diameter of a .45)
