Help ID 2 Coins from Civil War

Hello,

Please help ID these two coins I found. I found before these coins, some musketballs and buttons, so I know these coins are from around the same time.

The first one, I can only make out some of the words and date. As for the date it reads -80-
Looking at the front and reading the left side M--ET *H* REX
reading the right side towards the bottom, A *TE-

I wish I could be of more help but I cant make out the rest of words. Its a love, hate kinda of thing because I love finding something with history but hate not being able to fully read it.

As for the second coin...I'm sure most people will just say why the (edited) did I post it, because it is in such horrible condition and I agree with you. I was only hoping that maybe someone has or knows of a coin that has some of the lines or shapes. It looks like on the front there might be a person standing sideways with their left arm higher up then their right arm. And on the back, it looks kinda like the side profile of a face. Again, sorry to even put such a horrible pic.

King George II copper, probably a halfpence, also called a halfpenny. It looks like it could be the "young head" version which were minted between 1729 and 1739. Check out this link....

I believe the other is some type of colonial (1700s) coin. You might find it somewhere on that website.

Keep hunting that spot!

Hello again,

No Way! I'm sure you know more then me by far, but are you sure it could be from even that early...wow. Looking forward to going back and hunting it real soon.

King George's circulated until 1800, maybe 1825, but it is an old coin. Keep hunting that spot and show us what you find!

With the help of a couple of my friends and having no brain fog this morning, you "coin" is without a doubt one of many Condor Tokens

Here is one example from e-bay showing what I believe to match yours.

So, it is basically a brass copy of a 18th centruy British gold guinea.

There are some good sites on the web showing many Condor Tokens, just google it. Also I Googled "Regal Spade Guinea token" to get to show what I found...

Nice finds..
