I dont want to repeat all my posts, if you would look at this thread, maybe someone can help me.........

I obviously screwed something up....

You mean a WOT COIL right? how many wires? the link i gave you before on your last post shows basic color codes but one pin might not be used, there is another wire color combofor other combos-i will try to find it. sam in ms

I just cut the wore a foot below the connector and soldered them together..... the coil came off a sov and I wired it the same...... spliced my old coil back on and get nothing from it either.........

Okay- i do not have the time right now but i will try-there is another color coded wire pattern for older coils. if i remember right -one wire or pin connection is not used on some coils. i believe it might be the white one. sorry ,be more patient, and if i can't get back to immediately, someone will. Did you see the schematic i posted last year?sam in ms

Ok, charged my battery overnight...... spliced original coil back on, no way to wire wrong.....Made sure its on threshold....Hooked it up and turned it on....Nothing.....

My external speaker quit working last week, but headphones have always worked......Could it be the headphone jack finally went bad all the way???

I tested my headphones and they work in another device....

I have read in an instruction post on splicing that when you mix 2 wires up you just get no threshold... No harm to unit, just switch the 2 wires... I did all that.....

I guess the next step is to send it to minelab and have them fix the headphone jack and then start all over........

It's all good ..... I got it working....took the case apart and messed around w/ the headphone jack and now everything works.....

Thanks for all your help.....
