:help:..How to change the language in Minelab E-Trac

hispanico

New member
Hello friends I'm in Spain and I will buy an E-Trac with Menu Language French, I wonder if you can change the interface language of the E-Trac and how.
thank you very much

Hello hispanico. I used to live in Andalucia! :cheekkiss:

I have seen E-trac detectors advertised as "Spanish Language" on Ebay. This makes me wonder if the language is pre-set at the factory.

Surely, there should be a way to fix it....:starwars:

There is nothing on the Exchange software to change language.

I will contact you if I find a way...

I found this on another forum....

According to Andy Sabisch, Minelab designed the E-Trac so that there could never be any way for a user to interface with the machine other than the USB to access the software that came with the machine. To date, there exists no way for the home user to use the USB connection to do anything but this. And there is unfortunately no way to change the language in the user interface. Minelab sells the Spanish and Russian versions seperate of the English versions.

The French version probably is the same.

Can't change the language at home. Send the detector to Minelab where they can program the detector. I just send an Etrac that was in Spanish and had them change to English. Estimated cost $75.00.
