Help!!! How do you get info online????

Been trying to get any info online that will help research area's in my state (Nebraska). I know I will need to go the
historical institute in the off season, but would like to research and get some info off the computer without going in
circles or having to pay to join a web site. Everything I've tried ends up just frustrating me. Does anyone have some
inside tips on how and where to look that won't waste my time...Getting hooked on MD and would really like to hear
from any of you pro's out there. Tried to go to Sandborn but that was like trying to find a needle in a haystack....
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.....Thanks in advance.....Jeff

Something else, I found useful. When the interstate came through way back when, the old roads were forgotten. I have maps of Texas from the 50's, I got on Ebay and I look back for old rest stops and truck stops. I usually get the truck stops from people in the area where I want to seach. I have had some luck

Do you belong to a club? I just joined one in April here in Omaha (MDHC)....

Sounds good, we'll have to get out some time. No I don't belong to a club, I have 3 buddies I hunt with sometimes and because of my ridiculously unpredictable work schedule, I would have a hard time making commitments to a club. Tell me how you like the club though?
