My friend Troy brought me over some of his buttons he found detecting here in Michigan. Asked if I would post em for him to possibly get some info.
Anyone with a button book out there? I'm really curious about the South Carolina one. Is it civil war era? The back reads "Waterbury Co. Conn." Also, check out the condition of the rifelman button, tons of gilt and in great condition. I couldn't find one exactly like it online. The full wording on the back I could not match with others that are similar. And the Michigan button is cool as well. Any and all information will be apprectiated. Jim
