help choosing detector

I will be hunting a 1670 600+ acre park in the fall and I need some help in choosing a good detector. I am thinking about the Deus or the Deep Tech. The sites are heavily loaded with Iron so i need something that can separate well. Any advice would be appreciated.

If you are thinking about the deus why not also consider the goldmax power.....it's just as good in the iron and a lot cheaper. The only real difference is the deus is totally wireless but this does not increase your finds rate.....it only increases the price of the detector. There are many detectors out there that are good in the iron.......you do not have to spend loads of money on the latest models....... a good number of detectors that are suitable for your needs are older designs.

The CTX 3030 is the most expensive of the machines mentioned but will separate targets in iron as good as any and better than most machines. For the money do not overlook the G-2. Good luck with your decision. Looks like you have a great place to hunt. HH :minelab::fisher::teknetics:

Since you already have the CTX 3030, you have one of the best with iron separation and ID. If the iron is wall to wall in your field, I might suggest the smaller coil. A faster detector might give you a small advantage in separation but I question if the expense and loss of features would result in a real advantage in the end....... Good luck in the field.
