Really appreciate it Sir !!

Just be careful. Most of my nickles for instance read a solid 143 to 146 on my Digisearch meter. Sure, that might be explained by the difference in meters but it may also be explained by the difference in machines. Using that meter above on a GT and noise band 2, which is recommended to more closely match the older Sovereigns, might read higher due to the internal differences of a GT over older Sovereign models.

hi guys ..Im just wondering if these meters will work on the excalibur Id like to connect one up to mine ...what do you guys think

They are very close in Band 2. Almost all nickles Read 147 on my 180 digisearch.. ( Air Test) So thats higher for sure.. tested about 13 of them..

They should read about the same with the older Sovereigns or the GT, just notice nickles will read higher in band 1 over band 2 on the GT. I have had the DTI 2 the DTI 3, the Minelab rescaled 180 meter, the Digisearch meter and even tried a Night Hawk and have seen some difference, but not enough to make a real big difference. My older Sovereign XS and the XS2 nickles seem to be 143-144 and the next spring they seem to read 144-145. On my GT with the Sun Ray DTI 3 nickles read 145-146 and did the same on the digisearch meter too. If I went to band 1 then they read 146-147 it seem like. When calibrated for 179-180 and never a 181 my new zinc pennies, the early teens and IH read 176-177 on them all.
Now on nickles i have seen some of the deeper older nickles read low like a 141-142, but still has the nickle tone to them, just like War nickles have the nickle tone to them, but may read 143-151, you will notice they sound smoother then the round pultab that read the same numers.
