Man-O-Man.. those suckers are tuff to get out.. Storing a like new unit for the winter, and wanted to "slide the batteries" ( ya right ) out before it gets boxed up..Do certain brands work better as far as ease of installing and removing.. or did fisher just make the compartments a bit small..

Any Help??

Thanks Mark ( ohio )

Don't buy cheap batteries, I use energizer or coppertops in mine. Mine was shipped to me with some cheapys, and I used a pair of small needlenose pliers to grasp the ridge of the battery and wiggle it out. I have read a post where the guy banged the control housing against his hand, and they eventually came out. I would not recommend that technique.

will slide out on their own when the covers are removed and the control box tilted forward???? Is that accurate..

Thank you for the info.. Mark ( ohio )

Yes

Use energizer alkalines, there the only ones I found that will slide out with ease.

... and make a doubled tab loop on the rear of it. Then place them in. Pulling them out is easy, then. :nerd:
