Hi guys. I was wondering if some of you prior Infinium users could help me decide whether the ATX would be a worthwhile purchase for me. I am mostly a dry land relic hunter, thrilled with the Infinium in my mild ground. It is no doubt more sensitive to small items with the mono coil than any of my vlf detectors with 6 inch coils. That includes the mxt and nautilus dmcIlb cranked to the max. I never had a problem with my Infinium running well, even at the beach. What I am wondering is if the atx rave reviews on being more sensitive compared to the Infinium are when it's being compared to the Infinium with the stock dd coil and not the mono. Is the atx clearly more sensitive than the infinium when comparing the mono coils in mild ground? Sorry if this has already been hashed over. Any input appreciated. Thanks

Original DD coils on the Infinium LS are more sensitive to small low conductive items than the mono coils.

Standard 12x10"DD coil on ATX is even more sensitive than the DD coils on the Infinium LS meaning you can move the coil slightly faster and still be effective.

10x5"DD Infinium coil on ATX is as sensitive to small items the full length of coil as the Standard ATX 12x10"DD but the latter is deeper, so there is both sensitivity and depth with only one coil.

Thanks for the response Ivan. My 8 inch mono seemed much more sensitive to small pieces of tradesilver than the stock dd on my Infinium. Maybe I had a bad dd?? Anyway, are you thinking that the ATX 8 inch mono will clearly outperform the Infinium with 8 inch mono in mild ground when their is no instability issues?? Thanks in advance for your help.

I know it's not the best comparison, but has anyone air tested the ATX with 8 mono vs the Infinium with 8 inch mono using the same targets? Thanks for any input.
