Well after a Battle of getting the one tiny phillips screw out of the side of the connector I finally got it apart and found a broken wire in the connector as well as some type of epoxy inside it as well that is why I had such a hard time of getting the screw out I quess anyway so much epoxy on it am trying to see if I can get it off enough to see the solder joints to try to fix Have located a place over seas that has the connectors but need to see if I can figure out the color to numbered pin , also Have an email in to Brian at Minelab about the color code because He said they could fix it but it would be around 100.00 Mybe worth it in the long run but It is a 94 mod machine but darn it sure has good sensitivity on small targets will have to weigh the Pros and Cons Thanks Guys for all your help!

Barry, one day it I come across one I might pick one up. Heard many rave about the depth and stability of them in bad soil and ability to find stuff in iron. Had Minelab put tone alerts on them I bet they'd have sold better. Lacking tone alerts or a meter that turns me off to most machines I owned like that. I could live without the tone alerts on my 6000 Pro XLs for a while, but now I'm so spoiled with tone alerts that I only like machines with both that and a meter. Still, those old Minelabs are to this day said to be among the deepest on the planet in bad soil and such. That intrigues me...
