Hello, I would like to hear any/all tips for using my BH Pioneer202 detector, please. If possible, would be great to get some emails off the site also, on tips(for using a Pioneer202) or find photos etc. I luv the hobby! My email is mrmopar087@yahoo.com

I used one from 04 to 06. It is the only detector that I have had, that paid for itself. About four times over in fact. What kind of hunting do you do?

Best tip is to keep your sens at about noon, and your DISC at 9 o'cklock to 10 o'clock...Only turn up the SENS if the detector can handle it without constant false signals...

Hope those help some,

Bury a nickel 2 or 3 inches down in some wood chips. With your discrimination at 8 o'clock, start swinging over the nickle. Raise your disc. slowly until the nickel tone disappears. Then back it off slightly so the nickel comes through. Run your sensitivity as high as you can, without falsing. If you are hitting to much trash while hunting the nickles, use the same method with a COPPER cent. (If you don't want nickels, you sure won't want to mess with zinc pennies). You will lose most gold as well as Indian Head cents, but you will find Wheats, Silver and clad. And your coin to junk ratio will be about 10 to 1. Keep us posted and remember........ we love pictures.
