It looks like it has a carving in it?? Of what???

Is it hand Made??

Its looks like the gold nuggets I've found while prospecting!!!
But the gold nuggets are never that big!!
I think I'll give up prospecting!!!

Mrchile, what you have there is a Thai Baht chain with a Buddah pendant. Possibly a 1 or 2 baht chain. There should be a small stone Buddah inside the pendant. Normally Thai gold is 22kt, but sometimes there is the occasional 24kt. Great find!!!

I think the first pic of the pendant is a shark's tooth. I don't know if there would be a small figuring of Budda inside the pendant or not. I know that not all of the 24.8 g of mass of that is gold (tooth and other materials in the pendant), but with the price of gold right now, it's worth almost $500!
