Hello,

Hi,
I am new to this forum and would like to introduce myself.
I hope to be able to learn to use my MXT to find relics. So far I have found a fuel pump from a 1968 Chevy buried in my backyard and a few nails. I would be appreciative of any treasure hunting advice that the members can provide.

The best thing to learn when it comes to relic hunting is research, research, oh, and a little research. :) Do a search on your state and history in Google (Virginia History) or if you're a hot civil war state just (Virginia Civil War) and start reading.

You've started out the right way with your MXT, in your own yard. Now just replace all the trash you dug out with some coins, brass, and lead at various depths and start learning your MXT on some targets.

Keep coming here and asking questions, and always feel free to email a question or six. Soon enough, you'll be answering some :)

Finally, ask around to see if there's an MXT user near you so you two can hook up and go hunting/learning together.

Good luck and Happy Hunting,

LG
