Hello Wayne ......

We just learned yesterday that our daughter Audrey's boyfriend (Matt) is flying out to Vancouver Island tomorrow morning for a job interview with the municipality of Parksville. Does that ring a bell ? The young man's a civil engineer and hasn't been able to find a job around here yet. Needless to say, our daughter's been shedding a few tears about him leaving but we do what we have to do. She's asked me to say a prayer that he DOESN'T get this job. I said ......no problem.......I'll tell him to use my buddy as a reference. Was just wondering if you knew of the place or town.

About 12 thousand pop. Very expensive housing, a cheap small place is 350 thou. Lots of tree huggers and raging grannies ;) The pin marks my place in redneck country!
A job with the city would be good and your daughter would dress up the joint mighty fine:thumbup::lol:

her I will say a prayer that her husband turns up something close to home! I know you have to be too! I just hate it when something like this happens to one of our kids. I know here, there are no jobs to be had hardly, ........unless you know somebody! Our new son in law (married this past October to our daughter) got laid off the week before Christmas, and is going tomorrow for a pretty positive interview. We hope he gets that one too, so I can relate Rob! :)
